Alabama Bound

Early tomorrow morning, mom and I are making the trip home from Florida. I am really sad! I love being here with all my family. Seeing the babies(Ryleigh, Hunter, and Noah) has been awesome. Hopefully I'll be somewhat able to party HARD tomorrow night. If not, who cares! I was in the Bahamas for Christmas while all you people were in the cold Alabama weather.

Santa Claus came to my house

Santa came a week early on Tuesday night. Since my family and I are leaving for the cruise on Friday, Santa made a quick trip down from the North Pole to suprise my sister and I with goodies. Boy did I get hooked up! I got 2 new shirts for the cruise(yes they are girlie), some black striped tuxedo pants that are soooo adorable and cover my boot cast, 120 different eyeshadows, and the best present of all.......

I bet my mom is happy. Now she can get the Cannon back which I might add was her Christmas present last year from the big man. She only got to use the darn thing once before I swiped it and took it around the Southeast on my tour of NASCAR tracks. LOL! Boy that was a good camera, and I'm gonna miss it. But hey! I GOT MY OWN NOW! THANKS SANTA.

Santa really did my sister and I right this year. However, I've been told that Santa may make an appearance on our cruise. Who knows what he may bring us then? Maybe Kenny Chesney?!?! After all, he'll be in St. Thomas for Christmas. HMMMMM!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Cherished Mother
Every day since I was born,My mother cared for me.
Now that’s a lot of caring,
As anyone can see.
Please, Lord, protect my mother,
And keep her safe from harm,
For she is a cherished person,
With great wisdom, love and charm.
Lord, it’s my mother’s birthday
So please, help her to see
Just how much she means to us,Her loving family.

Only a matter of time...

Things have been really hectic since my family and I are getting ready for our Christmas vacation. No, we aren't pulling a Griswold's. I can't stop checking the weather for St. Maarten and St. Thomas. It is going to be hot and gorgeous! I am very impatient about going. I've busted my ass the past week so I could be off my crutches in time. I've done pretty well and am very proud of myself. We're still going to bring my crutches or as my dad calls it "my security blanket". I even called the doctor to get pain medicine. I want to be prepared for all the walking I will be doing on and off the ship. I'm so excited to see my family! It's been a while since I've seen my Aunt Ellen, Uncle Kent, and Kelsey. Plus when I get back, I get to see my cousin Brent's baby, Ryleigh. All we've seen of her is pictures!

Vacation is coming soon

WOW! This time next week I will be in Florida. I can't wait for a vacation. Heaven knows I need it. This week has been very hard for me. It started out Monday night with me crutching throughout the mall, and ended today with me talking(with no crutches) around the office. I've definitely busted my ass this week. I just want to have some strength so I am not a bump on a log while on the cruise ship.

Greetings from Work!

Earlier this week, I got the bright idea to go to work. I haven't seen Derek or Mrs. Penny in a while, and figured they'd be suprised to see my still cripple ass. Dad came to get me around 9:30am and I'll be here til 4pm. So far, its been really comical. Derek has made me laugh. I'm sure I can thank the Ultracets for that though. He is always good at putting a smile on my face. Mrs. Penny has been constantly talking to me. No one really expected to see me today, so it was hilarious to see their faces. Glad I was able to come into work...too bad I'll be feeling this in the morning.

Since I haven't taken any pictures of my ankle since I had my stitches taken out, I guess I need to show you guys how its healing. They say I'm doing great, just will take some time to get me up and walking. I am trying to survive on 1 crutch. I am really proud of myself. I had to call the Dr. on Tuesday to get some new pain medicine. Hopefully this will last me til I go on my cruise.

Thank you all for the continued prayers and support. You guys are amazing!
