Surgery Scheduled

Halloween will be another fun experience for me. I will be spending this day in the Operating Room. I went in for my doctor's appointment today and we both decided that I needed another surgery. I will be heading up to UAB Highlands at 5:45am for my surgery. He is going to fix my bone spurs and remove and add new hardware. I have been telling people that I am going in for my routine tune-up. However, this tune-up costs A LOT of money. For the first time, I am not scared. I am calm, cool, and collected. That may change tomorrow night I'm sure. All I ask is for prayers. I will definitly need them. Plus, if you have my cell phone or my house number, feel free to call and check on me.

Brrr, It's Cold

Holy shit! This Alabama weather is crazy. Last week, we were all wearing shorts and flip flops. This week, we are bundled up and freezing our butts off. I even had to pull out the long johns. I don't have a winter coat, so I had to borrow one. We had to light at fire at the past 2 days, and then this evening my family had to put the heat on. Winter is coming, and we NEVER even saw Fall. Sometimes I hate living here. I want warm weather all year long. Our Cruise can't come soon enough.

Lazy Weekend

There is nothing wrong with having a lazy weekend, especially when you don't get to do it very often. Since there was no Alabama football game at home this weekend, I was able to sleep as late as I wanted to. Boy was it nice! It started on Friday and ended today. I am going to miss it. Not having plans this weekend was prefect. Actually, I even broke a plan on Friday night so I could relax. It was much needed. Too bad the swelling in my ankle didn't go down any. Stupid ankle!

Dear Santa

Yes, I know Halloween hasn't come yet, but I can't help but make my Christmas list. It is REALLY short this year. For that, I deserve a medal. All I want for Christmas is:
